Pre-Employment Contract Review and Negotiation
HR First will review offers of employment and advise clients on the terms of any employment offer. This gives our clients the assurance and protection offered reflect their legal entitlement. In addition clients understand the terms which apply and are fair and reasonable.
We may recommend amendments to employment terms. We are happy to negotiate directly with the employer on our client’s behalf. Alternatively using our advice the client may seek to negotiate directly.
HR Services for employees with Disabilities
An employee who has a disability as defined by the Equality Act, is entitled to reasonable adjustments at work. Some employers are unfamiliar with these rights and though willing to be supportive, lack the knowledge and expertise to design and implement solutions which meet the employer’s legal obligations.
At HR First with our integrated solution we can engage relevant experts to deliver successful outcomes for both the employee and employer. We engage with the prospective employer, we analyse the employment setting, we engage the relevant expertise including occupational health or health and safety and with the benefit of this input, design suitable working practices and methods. We also identify, recommend and if necessary source mechanical or technical aids. In this way every member of the team is able to participate fully, work safely and become an integrated member of the team.
Resolving Difficulties at Work
From time to time, an employee may experience a difficulty at work. An employee may be subject to unwanted conduct such as bullying or harassment or may be subject to action under the employer’s disciplinary procedure.
